Description: Board games offer a low-tech classroom solution to teach a variety of concepts and skills while encouraging positive peer interaction. Come see how any subject area or grade level can benefit from using board games to enrich curriculum, encourage critical thinking, and motivate learners without breaking the budget.

Additionally, participants will get the opportunity to try out several games, including Love Letter, Why First?, and Dixit.

Joe Mencarini is a German and Spanish teacher at Martin Meylin Middle School in Lampeter, PA. He also runs the afterschool Board Game Club and is a Vanguard for Alderac Entertainment Group.
